Ingredients

1 kg. from Yucca
250 gr. grated cheese
80 gr. parmesan cheese
Butter
Black pepper
Salt
Nutmeg

Preparation of cassava with cheese

Start by washing the yucca, then peel it and cut it in half and then again in the middle to remove the tough strand you have. Chop the yuca into small pieces trying to make them uniform so that they cook at the same time.
Fill a pot with water, add salt and place over high heat until it boils. When it comes to a boil, add the yuca and cook for 15 minutes or until tender.
When you see that the yuca is tender, strain and drain well. Then pass it through the blender or blender to puree. Blend well to ensure no large chunks remain in the mixture.
Turn the oven to 200 ºC so that it is preheated, so it will be ready when it is time to gratinate this tasty cassava with cheese.
