Ingredients

1/3 kg. Of flour
125 ml. sunflower oil
250 gr. of puree pumpkin
4 eggs
1 yoghurt natural
225 gr. of sugar
½ sachet of yeast
1 tablespoon butter
Icing sugar to decorate

Preparation of yogurt and pumpkin sponge cake

The first thing will be to beat the eggs in a large bowl together with the sugar until they are integrated. When we have a whitish dough, add the pumpkin puree and beat everything again until a single dough is formed.
Next, we add the yogurt, oil and yeast. We beat everything to mix it.
We sift the flour and we integrate it without stopping mixing the ingredients. We preheat the oven to 180ºC.
We grease the mold that we are going to use with the butter and place the mixture that we have prepared. If the oven is already hot, we put the tray in it and wait 40 minutes.
When this time passes, we prick the cake to check if it is well done inside. If so, we take it out and let it rest for half an hour before enjoying. Decorate with the icing sugar and, voila! Enjoy a delicious pumpkin and yogurt cake!
