Preparing white rice in the microwave
- Wash the white rice well under tap water, so that it releases most of the starch it contains, which is not good for your health, and put it in a microwave-safe container.
- Now pour the four glasses of water. If you are making a lot of white rice, you will need to add more water. To know what is the correct amount of water to add so that the rice does not pass you, you only have to multiply x2 the amount of rice that you add. As in this case we use 2 glasses of rice you add 4 glasses of water, if you put 3 glasses of rice it would be 6 glasses of water, and so on.
- Add a little oregano, thyme and salt and if you want a few cloves of garlic and microwave, covered, for about 10 minutes at 750W.
- Take out and stir. If it is not to your liking, put it back in and let it do a couple more minutes with the same power.
