For the cake:

  • 300 gr. from chocolate White
  • 280 gr. Of flour
  • 1 sachet of yeast
  • 200 gr. of butter
  • 200 gr. of sugar
  • 6 eggs

For coverage:

  • White chocolate
  • 2 butter spoons
  • 3 tablespoons cream liquid

White Sacher cake recipe

  1. Mix 150 gr. of sugar with the butter, stirring well until obtaining a very smooth cream.
  2. In a bowl mix the sifted flour together with the yeast envelope. Put the egg yolks in the butter bowl and mix well, then add the flour and yeast mixture. Mix progressively until all the ingredients are combined. Add the white chocolate and beat again.
  3. In another bowl, mix the remaining sugar with the egg whites, until they are stiff. Pour in the egg mixture and beat until combined into a smooth batter.
  4. Spread a little butter in the mold you are going to use and pour the mixture you just prepared.
  5. Bake at 180º C for 10 minutes and then at 160º C for 20 minutes, so that the dough gains enough body.
  6. Meanwhile, prepare the coverage. To do this, you are going to mix the white chocolate with the liquid cream and butter in a saucepan.
  7. When you take out the cake, pour this mixture and spread it well. Store in the fridge and when it’s colder you can enjoy it.
