  • 6 squid
  • 100 gr. of mixed lettuce
  • 1 tooth of Garlic
  • 1 chilli
  • 1 carrot
  • 1 tablespoon cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil for the squid
  • Salt
  • Olive oil

Preparation of the warm squid salad

  1. Wash the lettuce well and then drain it vigorously. If the leaves are whole, cut them into strips. Leave it reserved in a draining pan until it has lost all the water.
  2. Rinse and drain the squid as well and put the two tablespoons of olive oil in a pan. Heat it over medium heat and then add the squid with a pinch of salt. Sauté them for four minutes and stir them so that they are done on all sides.
  3. Meanwhile, cut the garlic into small pieces and when the baby squid are almost done, add it to the pan. Also add the whole chilli and wait about a minute. After this time, pour in the cider vinegar, stir and wait another half minute. Turn off the heat and set the pan aside.
  4. Now peel the carrot and grate it so that you can spread it better all over the salad later.
  5. Now put the lettuce in a bowl or salad bowl and season it with olive oil, Modena vinegar and also add a little salt. Place the squid on top and water them with their own juice. Don’t forget to remove the chilli.
  6. Finally, put the grated carrot on top and, tachán! Your warm squid salad is ready! To eat!
