Homemade hard nougat recipe
You can also make a homemade hard nougat or alicante nougat and also in a simple way with only these five ingredients.
Ingredients:
- 2 wafers
- 1 egg white
- 250 gr of toasted almonds
- 150 gr of sugar
- 150 gr of honey
Preparation of homemade hard nougat
- First we have to heat the honey and sugar over a low heat in a saucepan. We must constantly stir.
- Wait for it to boil and let it cook for three or four minutes. Turn off the heat and wait for it to cool down a bit.
- Put the white to snow and add it to the honey little by little while stirring gently.
- Then we add the almonds and mix again.
- Put baking paper in a mold and place a wafer on top.
- Put the dough on top and close with the other wafer.
- When it cools it is ready to eat. Serve it with other sweets like a Chocolate brownie or a lemon pie with cookies.
