Ingredients

For the turkey:

  • 5 kg. of Turkey
  • Liquid candy
  • 3 tablespoons of butter

For the filling:

  • 1 turkey liver
  • 250 gr. from mince
  • 250 gr. from sausages white
  • 100 gr. from walnuts
  • 100 gr. dried apricots
  • 100 gr. prunes
  • 50 gr. pinions
  • 1 apple
  • 1 glass of juice Orange natural
  • 200 ml. pineapple juice
  • 100 ml. brandy
  • Salt
  • Pepper

For the sauce:

  • 1 onion
  • 2 teeth of Garlic
  • two apples
  • 2 butter spoons
  • 4 slices of bacaon
  • 6 prunes
  • 2 cups of raisins
  • 1 glass of juice Orange
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Preparation of stuffed turkey thermomix

  1. The night before you will have to empty and clean the turkey. The liver reserves it, while the rest of the entrails can be thrown away. Season the turkey inside, and if you want, spread a little butter on it. Leave it in the fridge to rest overnight covered with plastic wrap.
  2. The next morning, in a bowl mix the minced meat with the sausages cut into not very thick slices. Pour in the brandy, along with the orange and pineapple juice, stir a little with your hands to mix and reserve in the fridge for later.
  3. Peel the apple and cut it into slices, which you put in the thermomix glass along with the turkey liver and nuts. Program at speed 3 for 6 seconds to crush everything. If you see large chunks, then program for another 5 seconds. Everything has to be well chopped.
  4. This mixture is transferred to the bowl with the meat, season again, cover with a plastic wrap and leave to marinate for half an hour in a corner at room temperature.
  5. After 30 minutes, put the stuffing inside the turkey and close the opening with toothpicks in a zig-zag pattern. Another option is that you stuff it to prevent the filling from coming out.
  6. Now you have to prepare the sauce, for which you must peel the onion, then cut it into slices that you put into the thermomix, just like the already peeled garlic cloves. Also add the two apples, peeled, washed and chopped. Program at speed 6 for 5 seconds to blend everything.
  7. Then add the plums, raisins, bacon and two tablespoons of butter, then the orange juice, and finally salt and pepper to your liking. Program at speed 8 for 10 seconds, if you have not had a very thick sauce, add another 10 seconds.
  8. Lift the skin of the turkey on the breast part and cover it with the prepared sauce.
  9. Grease the turkey with a little butter, season it, and then wrap it in aluminum foil.
  10. Bake at 180º C for 2 hours. During that time you don’t have to worry about sautéing it with the juice.
  11. After two hours, you take it out and remove the aluminum foil. Put it back in for another two hours, but this time every 20 minutes bathe it with the juice that is released into the tray, this way it will be much juicier.
  12. Finally, spread the liquid caramel using a brush and leave it in the oven for a few more minutes, until it is golden brown. Your thermomix stuffed turkey is now ready to be enjoyed! Remember to let it rest for 20 minutes before cutting it for a better result.
