As we will explain below, you can dress it with some type of juice to your liking. But, if you prefer, you can season it with the cranberry sauce for the turkey, or if it catches your attention, the cranberry sauce for meat. It is up to you! Ready to prepare a delicious chicken stuffed turkey? Well come on, let’s get started!
- 1 turkey of 5 kg.
- 250 gr. chicken minced meat
- 6 mushrooms fresh
- ½ onion
- 4 teeth of Garlic
- Olive oil
- Ground black pepper
- 1 branch of rosemary
Preparing the chicken stuffed turkey
- Open the turkey as if it were a book, that is, making a cut in the center and unfolding it in two towards the sides. Make a few light cuts on the surface of the meat. Add salt and ground black pepper, reserve.
- Peel the onion and cut it into thin julienne strips. Pour a splash of olive oil into a frying pan and heat it over medium heat. Sauté the onion in this oil with a pinch of salt. When it begins to become thin and transparent, add the sliced garlic cloves.
- When the garlic cloves begin to brown, stir in the minced chicken. Add ground black pepper and salt and sauté the meat until you check that it is done, this will take only ten minutes. Stir frequently so that the ingredients do not stick.
- While the meat is cooking, rinse and cut the mushrooms into small pieces. Once the meat is ready, add the mushrooms to the sauce. These will be ready in no time, at most, they will need five minutes.
- Turn off the heat and preheat the oven to 200ºC. Now you must place the sofrito in the open turkey. Roll it up carefully and close it with the help of toothpicks for example. Brush the outside of the meat with a little olive oil and place it in a suitable baking dish.
- When the oven reaches the desired temperature, place the dish in the oven and wait three hours. It is what the turkey needs to be done. And we are done! Your turkey stuffed with chicken is ready. Wait for it to cool a bit and you can cut it into slices and serve it. Very good profit!

- If you want, you can wash your stuffed turkey with a little white wine or lemon juice to make it juicier and give it an extra touch of flavor.
