  • 5 kg. of Turkey
  • 1 tablespoon of pepper

  • ¼ cup raisins
  • 3 tablespoons of parsley
  • 2 tablespoons grated skin of Orange
  • 1 tablespoon of salt
  • 1 cup of rice Cooked

Easy Baked Turkey Prep

  1. The night before, clean the turkey well to remove all the viscera, reserve them for use the next day and use them for the filling, which will greatly improve its flavor. Then add salt and pepper and put it in the fridge.
  2. The next day, remove the turkey an hour before cooking to bring the meat to room temperature.
  3. To make this delicious easy baked turkey you should start by preheating the oven to 180 ºC. In a bowl, mix the orange juice with the peel that you have grated, also add the oil, pepper and salt, stir everything to mix.
  4. Peel and chop the eyes, being able to pass them a little through the blender if you prefer, and add them to the mixture. Use the mixer to blend and unify the ingredients of this dressing, then pass this mixture over the turkey so that it takes on flavor.
  5. Put a frying pan on the fire with a little oil and fry the viscera of the turkey. When they have taken on flavor, add the rice, cream cheese, raisins and parsley. Stir the combination well so that it takes color.
  6. Once the preparation is ready, you put it inside the turkey with great care not to burn yourself. When it is full, close the opening with the help of toothpicks, then cover the turkey with aluminum foil and place it on a large tray.
  7. In the event that you have baking bags for chickens, it is advisable to use them instead of aluminum foil, this way you avoid burning the turkey. However, whichever option you choose, the legs of the turkey have to be covered with aluminum foil so that they do not burn.
  8. Put the turkey in the oven for about four hours at 180º C. Every 20 minutes, with a tablespoon, you will have to pour the juice over it so that it does not remain dry. The cooking time of the 5 kg turkey in the oven is 4 hours, the last half hour of cooking remove the aluminum foil and raise the oven temperature to 200 ºC so that the skin browns.
