Tuna canapes are the most typical to see at a meal when something is celebrated, but they can be prepared in a slightly more elaborate way to make them much tastier.
- 12 slices of sliced bread
- 2 cans of tuna
- 100 gr. green olives
- 150 gr. mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
Preparation of tuna canapes
- The first thing is that you remove the crust from the mold loaves and then cut them into squares of a more or less equal size, to put them to bake a little or toast them a little in a pan so that they are golden brown.
- Add the tuna, without the oil from the can, into the blender glass along with the olives, reserve some for garnish, and the mayonnaise. Beat vigorously and you will see that it forms a creamy mixture.
- Add the lemon juice and salt and pepper to your personal taste, beat again to unify everything and now you will have a slightly looser paste.
- Spread the canapés with this pastita that you have prepared and on top of each canapé you can put, something that is totally optional, some olives as a decoration.
