Recipes for a soccer day at home
Has reached our consultation section A question asking for ideas to snack with friends watching football, I find it an interesting question since this is a regular meeting and with very specific conditions, some controllable (the culinary ones) and others more random (the football players).
Maria claimed to be tired of the cold cuts and pizza that are common in these meetings. These days it is convenient to put cold things so that you do not have to get up to warm up and not miss the goal of our team, you also have to think about dishes that we can eat without cutlery on the couch. Here are some ideas:
FRIED CHINESE NOODLES WITH PEPPER.
Fry the chopped Chinese noodles in plenty of hot olive oil. Once they have been completely inflated but maintain the white color, remove and dry with the help of absorbent paper. Finally add a little paprika on top.
PICKLED SNACKS.
Make a mayonnaise with sunflower oil. Chop a fresh chives in brunoise and mix with the mayonnaise and pickled tuna.
ESCALIBADA TOSTAS AND ANCHOVIES IN VINEGAR.
Roast in the oven at 180º for fifty minutes, three red peppers, two aubergines, two chives and a head of unpeeled garlic. Peel the vegetables, cut them into strips and season with salt, extra virgin olive oil and sherry vinegar.
The anchovies can be bought ready-made but if we dare to make them we must clean them in loins and put them in a tupperware covered with vinegar and plenty of salt. Leave the anchovies for an hour, drain them and store with virgin olive oil and minced garlic.
MOZARELLA BROCHET, CHERRY TOMATO AND BASIL OIL.
Put pieces of mozarella and cherry tomatoes alternately on a skewer. For the oil we crush extra virgin olive oil with fresh basil leaves and salt. Pour a few tablespoons of the oil over the skewer.
