Ingredients

  • ½ kg. dogfish
  • 1 lemon
  • 2 teeth of Garlic
  • Sweet paprika
  • Oregano
  • 1 egg
  • 80 gr. flour to coat
  • 1 branch of fresh parsley
  • Olive oil
  • Ground black pepper
  • Salt

Preparation of the dogfish in marinade with lemon

  1. When preparing this delicious variant of marinated dogfish, the first thing you should do is prepare the fish. Buy it clean and sliced. Then, place it in the bowl where you are going to mix it with the marinade.
  2. Wash the sprig of parsley, drain it well and chop it very finely. Add it to the bowl and also add a tablespoon of sweet paprika and another of oregano. Pour in half a glass of water.
  3. Peel the garlic, chop it very small and add it to the bowl. Squeeze the lemon and pour its juice over the ingredients. Finally, add salt and ground black pepper to your liking and wash it all with olive oil.
  4. Once you have gathered all the ingredients in a bowl, you must mix them well so that all their flavors are perfectly integrated. Of course, do it very carefully, because the dogfish is a very tender fish and it breaks easily.
  5. Then, cover the bowl with plastic wrap and put it in the fridge to marinate for at least two hours. If you can leave it overnight, so much the better.
  6. The time has come to make this delicious fish. To do this, heat a finger of olive oil in a pan over medium heat. While you wait for it to heat up, coat the dogfish. You have to beat an egg and pass the dogfish first through there and then through the flour.
  7. As you fry the dogfish, transfer it to a source or plate with absorbent kitchen paper so that it releases all the excess fat and thus remains very crispy and just right.
