White rice with tuna is a dish that even the smallest of the house can cook without any problem. We will make a natural tomato sauce for this dish, but you can garnish it with the sauce that you like the most.
Preparation of white rice with tuna
- After washing the tuna well under tap water, with which you get it to add most of the starch it contains, you transfer it to a saucepan with enough water and a little salt so that it cooks for a quarter of an hour, or even that you see it tender. If you want you can add a couple of garlic cloves to get the flavor.
- To make the tomato sauce, you just have to peel the onion, chop it well together with the garlic cloves and fry both ingredients in a pan.
- On the other hand, peel the tomatoes, the gins and crush them, cut into quarters, in the mincer.
- When the onion and garlic are golden brown, add these ingredients to the tomato, along with a little water and blend until making a homogeneous sauce that you return to the pan.
- Strain and drain the rice, fry with the sauce, adding the cans of tuna without the oil, for a couple of minutes and eat.
