  • 2 cups of rice
  • 2 cups of vegetable broth
  • 8 mushrooms big
  • 1 tooth of Garlic
  • one onion
  • 1 cup of coriander
  • Olive oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Preparation of white rice with mushrooms

  1. Heat the two cups of vegetable broth, two cups of water and three teaspoons of salt in a saucepan. When the water boils, add the two cups of white rice and cook over high heat.
  2. When you notice that the rice is drying and there are bubbles on the surface, lower the heat to a minimum, cover the saucepan and let the rice cook for 20 minutes. Then turn off the heat and reserve.
  3. Meanwhile, wash the mushrooms, pat them dry with absorbent paper and chop them into medium pieces. Julienne the onion and garlic clove and finely chop the coriander.
  4. Add a little olive oil to a skillet and, when hot, sauté the onion and garlic until golden brown.
  5. When the rice is ready, add it to the pan along with the onion and garlic and sauté for five minutes over medium heat.
  6. Then add the chopped mushrooms, lower the heat to a minimum and cook the preparation with the covered pan for ten minutes.
  7. Then add the coriander, mix to integrate and rectify the salt. Turn off the heat and let the rice rest for ten more minutes. After time you can serve your white rice with mushrooms, enjoy it!
