This recipe from tofu with tomato You can serve it as a starter, or you can use it as a sauce for pasta or rice.
- 250 gr. from tomato.
- 450 gr. from tofu.
- 1 onion.
- 500 ml. from tomato crushed.
- Black pepper.
- Olive oil.
- Fine salt
Tomato tofu recipe.
- For this dish we are going to use a type of tofu that is soft. If you want to use one that is spicy, keep in mind that the flavor of the recipe will change a lot.
- We heat a frying pan with olive oil, or we can use a wok to your liking.
- While the oil is heating, we are going to peel and chop the onion into small pieces (or you can use frozen onion). We remove the skin from the tomatoes and cut them into small pieces. With the oil already hot, add the onion first, so that it sautées well. Leave it until it is golden brown and transparent.
- Now with the transparent onion we are going to add the tomato and fry it all together. We let it go for a couple of minutes.
- Cut the tofu into pieces and add it to the blender glass, along with the crushed tomato. We are going to beat everything well until the ingredients are well mixed.
- If the mixture has come out too thick, add a little water and mix everything again, until it comes out smooth and homogeneous.
- We season our cream to taste and we mix this in a plate with what we have fried in the pan. We already have our plate ready to eat.
