  • 8 zucchini
  • 1 onion
  • 1 egg
  • 50 gr. breadcrumbs
  • 20 gr. grated cheese
  • 3 tablespoons corn oil
  • 1 tablespoon of nutmeg

Gratin stuffed zucchini recipe

  1. The first thing is to prepare the zucchini. To do this, cut them in half and cook in a saucepan with water, so that the meat softens.
  2. Meanwhile, you are going to peel and chop the onion and beat the egg well with a little nutmeg.
  3. When the zucchini are done, which will take about 10 minutes, you take them out and extract the inner meat with a spoon, trying not to load your skin.
  4. First sauté the onion with three tablespoons of corn oil, until it takes on a good color. Then add the beaten egg and cheese. Begin to stir to make a good mixture and also add the meat of the zucchini, stirring again so that it is well integrated.
  5. When all the ingredients have cooked well, fill the zucchini and top with a little cheese and breadcrumbs.
  6. Put in the oven for about 15 minutes at 190º C and you will have your plate ready to eat.
