  • 200 gr. from rice
  • 8 squid
  • 1 brick of sauce tomato natural
  • 1 onion
  • 2 teeth of Garlic
  • Salt
  • Olive oil
  • 1 plate of flour
  • Grated cheese

Squid stuffed with rice recipe

  1. Start by washing the rice under running water, so that it releases a little of the starch that the rice contains. Then you put it to cook in a saucepan with water and a teaspoon of salt for about 15 minutes.
  2. Meanwhile, chop the onion and garlic cloves into very small pieces. These pieces are going to be fried in a pan.
  3. When the rice is ready, strain it and drain well. Then you add it to the pan with the rest of the ingredients and let it all cool together for about five minutes.
  4. Pour the brick of tomato sauce, along with the amount of grated cheese you want, and stir. Wait until the tomato is consumed a little.
  5. Clean the squid, removing the plastic they contain and fill their entrails with this preparation. Seal the opening with a wooden toothpick.
  6. Pass each squid through the flour plate and fry them in a pan with plenty of oil, until they are well browned.
  7. You just have to enjoy.
