  • 1 onion
  • two tomatoes
  • 2 teeth of Garlic
  • 3 tablespoons of sauce tomato natural

  • 1 chilli
  • 2 tablespoons of parsley
  • 1 glass of White wine
  • Olive oil
  • Salt

Preparation of spicy seafood mussels

  1. The first thing you should do is clean the mussels, to do this, remove the hairs from the sides with a knife, pulling them towards the narrowest part of the opening of each mussel.
  2. Then, wash the mussels under the tap and let them drain in a colander.
  3. While the mussels drain, peel, wash and dice the onion. Do the same with the garlic cloves, the tomato and the chilli (with everything and their seeds).
  4. Add a generous squirt of olive oil to a saucepan or deep skillet. When hot, sauté the onion and garlic over medium heat until golden brown.
  5. Incorporate the tomato, tomato sauce, wine, parsley, pepper, chilli, 2 glasses of water and salt to taste. Let everything cook over high heat for 5 minutes.
  6. Add the mussels to the casserole, lower the heat to medium heat and cook for 20 minutes with the casserole covered.
  7. After time, rectify the salt of the preparation, turn off the heat and let it rest for 5 more minutes with the pan covered.
  8. Afterwards you can serve the spicy mussels a la marinara, enjoy!
