  • 500 gr. clam
  • 2 teeth of Garlic

Preparation of spaghetti with prawns and clams

  1. About three hours before making these delicious spaghetti, we are going to put the clams in a bowl with cold water and salt. In this way they will release all the earth they can contain.
  2. After this time, we can start. The first thing you have to do is rinse the clams and steam them in a pan with a splash of white wine. You have to have them covered and stir from time to time.
  3. Just 3 minutes after the steam starts to come out, put the clams aside and discard the unopened ones because that means they are bad.
  4. Now put the clams in a bowl, strain the broth well and set them aside. Then we will use them again. If you want, you can remove the clams from the shells, if not.
  5. Now put a large amount of salted water in a pot and, as soon as it boils, add the spaghetti for the time indicated by the manufacturer on the container. As soon as they are, put them to drain.
  6. While the spaghetti is cooking, put a drizzle of oil in a frying pan and, while it is heating, peel and chop the garlic as small as you can. Add them to the pan and, when they begin to brown, add the peeled prawns. When the prawns begin to color, add the spaghetti and clams.
  7. Wash, chop the parsley and sprinkle it on top. Stir to mix all the ingredients well and add a little salt to taste.
