  • 400 gr. from mince
  • 2 teeth of Garlic
  • two eggs
  • ½ loaf of bread
  • Milk
  • Flour
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Parsley

Recipe for meatballs in lemon sauce

  1. It is best to start by making the meatballs, so that while they rest you can take care of making the sauce.
  2. In a bowl add the minced meat. Chop the garlic cloves and beat the eggs. Add everything to the bowl along with parsley, pepper and a little salt. Knead everything using your hands to make a uniform dough. Now soak the crumbs of the ½ loaf of bread to add them to the mixture and knead again, to make it an even smoother dough.
  3. Taking small portions of the meat with your hands, go into balls, using flour to shape it much more easily. Put all the balls on a tray, which are not too large, and leave them in the fridge for half an hour or so, so that they take on greater consistency.
  4. To avoid wasting time while time passes, go preparing the sauce. To make it, you have to chop the onion and garlic cloves into small pieces. Pour it into a saucepan, along with the amount of salt, pepper and a good drizzle of oil. Start heating it over medium heat until the onion is golden brown.
  5. Then add the glass of chicken broth, the juice of a lemon and sauté everything until everything is well mixed. If you want, pass the sauce a little through the blender so that the pieces of things are not seen.
  6. Once the sauce is ready, take the meatballs out and fry them a little, so they have a little more body. Put them in the saucepan and boil them with the sauce for about 15-20 minutes or so.
  7. Let them rest a bit and they will be ready to eat.
