  • 800 gr. fresh tuna skinless and boneless
  • 1 zucchini
  • 1 Red pepper
  • 1 green pepper
  • 1 carrot
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 branch of rosemary
  • 1 sprig of thyme
  • 4 teeth of Garlic
  • Balsamic vinegar
  • Olive oil
  • Salt
  • Ground black pepper

Preparation of pickled tuna with vegetables

  1. Clean the tuna to remove any bits of skin or bones it may have. Then cut it into roughly three-centimeter cubes. Season the fish pieces and reserve.
  2. Peel the carrot and cut it into very small squares. Then gin the peppers, remove the white part and cut them into small cubes. Chop the zucchini in the same way without removing the skin.
  3. Pour 1/2 cup of the olive oil, the rosemary, the thyme and the bay leaf, the peeled garlic cloves and salt and pepper to taste into a saucepan. Heat over medium heat.
  4. When the oil is hot add the tuna tacos, lower the heat to a minimum and cook for five minutes. Take out the tuna tacos and leave them warm in a bowl. Then strain the oil and reserve it as well.
