Ingredients:

  • 1 natural skimmed yogurt
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 1 small lemon
  • A few coriander leaves
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • Ground black pepper
  • Salt

Preparation of the light yogurt sauce

  1. As you will see below, making a light yogurt sauce is especially simple. First you have to peel the garlic clove and cut off the flat end to discard it.
  2. Then put it in a mortar and mash it well until it is very crushed.
  3. Next, pour the yogurt into the blender glass, trying to scrape the walls of the container well to make the most of it. Add the minced garlic.
  4. Pass these two ingredients through the hand mixer or blender until well mixed. Now cut the lemon in half and squeeze it well until all its juice is extracted. When you have taken everything out, pour it into the previous mixture.
  5. Also add salt and ground black pepper and add a drizzle of olive oil. Blend again until a homogeneous dough forms.
  6. Once you have mixed all these ingredients well, rinse the coriander leaves, drain them well and chop them very small. Sprinkle them over the mixture you just made.
  7. Stir well, so that the chopped cilantro is well distributed among the rest of the sauce. And nothing more! This tasty light yogurt sauce is ready to serve.
