Frola light pasta recipe

For people who are on a diet, or who follow a very strict diet, they can take a light pasta frola, which with a few simple steps they can have prepared in a moment.

Ingredients

  • 500 gr. whole wheat flour
  • 1 tablespoon of baking powder
  • 60 gr. unsalted butter
  • 175 gr. brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon of essence of vanilla
  • 1 egg
  • 500 gr. of quinces
  • 1 lemon

Frola light pasta recipe

  1. Sift the flour into a bowl, which is deep, and make a hole in the center. Add the baking powder and mix. Then a little salt and mix again.
  2. In another bowl the butter, when it is very soft, mix it with the sugar to make a kind of paste. Beat the egg and mix it with this paste getting a unique mixture.
  3. Pour in the flour and stir, to make a new doughy mixture.
  4. If you wish, you can add a teaspoon of vanilla essence to flavor the dessert.
  5. Without stopping beating with the help of electric rods you are going to add water very slowly, until you make a more solid dough that you work with your hands, until you make a ball that you reserve in the fridge, covered with plastic wrap, for an hour or so .
  6. Wash the quinces well, peel and chop them into small pieces that you put in a bowl full of lemon juice. Let them soak until they are very soft or you put them in a saucepan with that juice and cook them.
  7. When they are very soft, you transfer them to the blender glass, along with the lemon juice, and grind them until they make a slightly thick paste.
  8. Take out the dough, remove a portion and knead the largest one to put it on a mold, to which you have put a little butter or olive oil.
  9. Pour the sugar-free quince paste that you have prepared, spreading it well throughout the base.
  10. Knead the other piece that you have removed, it has to be about a third of the dough, and cut it into long strips that you put covering the entire base.
