- 500 gr. from lentils.
- 1 green pepper
- 1 Red pepper
- 1 glass of wine
- 1 leek
- 1 onion
- two carrots
- 3 potatoes
- 3 teeth of Garlic
- 1 bay leaf
- two tomatoes
- Olive oil
Preparation of the lentils in the planter.
- First of all, you have to decide whether you want to buy the ready-to-cook lentils or not. We recommend that you buy them already ready because that way you will advance work.
- We are now going to prepare the vegetables. First peel the onion and cut it into eight pieces. Also peel the three garlic cloves and cut them in half. Put everything in a large pot with boiling water and a drizzle of oil.
- Clean, peel and cut the potatoes into four pieces and do the same with the peppers, the leek, the carrots and the tomatoes.
- As soon as you see that the onion begins to become transparent a little, after about fifteen minutes, add the rest of the vegetables and add a little salt.
- When about twenty minutes have passed, with all the vegetables well sautéed, add the lentils along with the glass of wine.
- Raise the heat a little so that the alcohol in the wine evaporates and wait for all the flavors to mix. Now add a couple of glasses of water and the bay leaf.
- Next, cover the pot and leave everything on the fire for another fifteen minutes.
- Taste the salt point and if it is ready you can turn off the fire. Wait for them to cool down and enjoy a nutrient-packed plate!
