- 500 gr. lentils
- 30 ml. juice lemon
- 2 teeth of Garlic
- 1 tablespoon of chopped parsley
- 1 tablespoon of tahini
- 15 ml. Of olive oil
Lentil hummus preparation
- The first thing you should do is wash the lentils and place them on the fire with a little salt until they are soft. 15 minutes will be enough.
- While you wait, peel the garlic and mash them in a mortar. If you want the hummus to be stronger, you can add more garlic, that will depend on how you like it. Also chop the parsley.
- When the lentils are done, remove them from the heat. To speed up the preparation process, cool them under running water and drain them using a strainer.
- Blend the lentils with the garlic, lemon juice, salt, tahini and olive oil until you get a smooth paste.
- Put the cream in a bowl, cover it and put it in the refrigerator to cool. Before consuming it, decorate with the chopped fresh parsley and, if you want, you can add a drizzle of olive oil. We hope you enjoy it, it is so rich and easy to make that it is worth trying.
