Ingredients
For the meatballs:
- 100 gr. from minced beef
- 100 gr. minced pork
- 125 ml. milk
- 1 egg
- Salt
- Black pepper
- 2 tablespoons of chopped parsley
- 80 gr. bread crumb
- 100 gr. flour for coating or breadcrumbs
- Olive oil
For the sauce:
- 200 gr. from sepia
- 150 ml. fish soup
- 1 glass of white wine
- 200 ml. tomato sauce
- 1 onion
- 4 teeth of Garlic
- Olive oil
Preparation of the meatballs with cuttlefish
- To start with this dish, place the breadcrumbs in a bowl and add the milk. Mix it well and let it soak for about eight minutes.
- Then mix the pork with the beef, egg, chopped parsley, salt and pepper in another bowl. Mix everything together and, as soon as you’ve done it, add the drained breadcrumbs.
- Now you have to make balls with this dough the size of a ping pong ball. As soon as you have them, pass them in flour and fry them in a pan with oil. Each meatball has to be between five and ten minutes over medium heat. As soon as they are, reserve them in a source with a little kitchen paper so that they release all the oil that is left over.
- Now let’s go for the cuttlefish. Clean it, removing any remaining viscera, and dice it. Place it in a hot pot until all the water is released. When the water has evaporated, add a splash of olive oil and sauté. Then, remove the cuttlefish from the heat.
- The sauce can be made in the same pot. The first thing you have to do is cut the garlic and onion as small as you can and then fry it.
- As soon as the garlic and onion are golden brown, add the wine and raise the heat to high for five minutes to allow the alcohol to evaporate. Then add the tomato sauce and the fish stock. Stir and incorporate the prawns.
- Put the heat to medium power and, when you see that the sauce begins to boil, add the meatballs. Leave everything on the fire for about twenty minutes.
- When this time has elapsed, you can turn off the heat and serve this delicious dish of meatballs with cuttlefish. If you want, you can accompany your plate of white rice or potatoes. What a delight!
