Ingredients

To marinate:

  • 500 gr. from Salmon marinated
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup of salt
  • 1 tablespoon of honey
  • 3 sprigs of fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 lemon
  • Lemon zest
  • Ground black pepper

For the tartar:

  • 1/2 onion dwelling
  • 1 tomato big
  • 1 avocado mature
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of soy sauce
  • 4 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1/2 lemon
  • 3 pickled gherkins, chopped
  • Salt to taste

Preparation of marinated salmon tartare

  1. You should start by defrosting the salmon about 4 hours before preparing the tartare. Then, if it has skin, remove it with a sharp knife. Place the salmon in a bowl, sprinkle with black pepper and add the honey.
  2. To prepare the marinade, mix the lemon juice, sugar, salt, dill and lemon zest. Cover the salmon with this mixture on both sides, cover with a plastic wrap and refrigerate for 24 hours. Put a weight on top to put pressure on the fish.
  3. After time, remove the salmon and wash with cold water. Cut it into approximately 0.5 centimeter cubes and place in a bowl.
  4. Next, peel and chop the onion very small. Wash the tomato, remove the seeds, chop the same size as the salmon and add to the bowl.
  5. Split the avocado in two, remove the seed and the skin, cut into cubes as well and join with the rest of the ingredients.
  6. In a bowl, mix the soy, olive oil, the juice of half a lemon, the Worcestershire sauce, the pickles, a pinch of salt and pour over the fish and vegetables. Stir carefully.
  7. As your marinated salmon tartare is ready to be tasted, you can place it immediately or store in the refrigerator until it is time to serve it. Enjoy your meal!
