  • 12 asparagus green
  • 100 gr. feta cheese
  • 50 gr. walnuts
  • 1 lemon
  • Balsamic vinegar
  • Olive oil
  • Salt

Preparation of grilled asparagus with cheese

  1. You have to start by cutting the feta cheese into pieces with the help of a sharp knife and very carefully. As soon as you have it, put it in a bowl and reserve. Let’s go for the asparagus.
  2. Start by washing them well, drain them, and keep only the tops of them. The bottom part is usually very hard and that is why you should discard it.
  3. Once you have prepared the asparagus, you should pour a few drops of olive oil on a griddle or in a pan. The most important thing for the dish to be really grilled is that it does not contain much oil.
  4. Heat this little oil over medium heat and, when it is hot, add the asparagus to the pan. Cook them for five minutes and turn them over so they are done on all sides. While you wait for them to be done, you can chop the nuts. If you want you can use a mortar. Also cut the lemon in half that we are going to use now.
  5. When the asparagus is done, remove it from the griddle and transfer it to a large plate or a platter. Sprinkle them with a little salt, squeeze a half of the lemon and add the vinegar, cheese and walnuts.
  6. We are going to use the other half of the lemon to decorate the plate. You will see how your presentation is unique! Serve your grilled asparagus with cheese and enjoy all its flavor!
