Do you like giving flowers and don’t know how to do it? We help you by making a fondant cake with flowers so that you surprise anyone.
For the cake:
- 320 gr. pastry flour
- 3 eggs
- 250 gr. of sugar
- 210 gr. of butter
- 1 sachet of yeast
For the fondant:
- 400 gr. icing sugar
- 200 gr. of white clouds
- Dyes of various colors

- Separate the whites from the yolks into two separate stories. You are going to beat the whites with a little sugar until they reach the well-known point of snow.
- Melt the butter in the microwave and mix it with the leftover sugar, until you get a white cream. To this cream you add the yolks and beat well again.
- Sift the flour into a plate along with the yeast. You add both ingredients to the mixture of butter, sugar and egg yolks, until you get a homogeneous mixture. You are going to combine this mixture with the egg whites and bring it to the point of snow, beating gently.
- Pour the mixture into a circular mold, which is removable and is greased in butter. Put in the oven for about 30 minutes at 200º C so that it is done well.
- In what the cake is made, we will take care of the fondant. To make it, cut the clouds into small pieces and put them in a bowl with a little water to moisten them.
- Already wet, put in the oven in short sessions of 30 seconds until you see that the clouds are well melted.
- Pour all the icing sugar into a bowl and make a volcano in the center, where you will pour the melted clouds. Mix well, using your hands, until you form a kind of dough that is sticky and manageable.
- Once ready, you put it on the table and knead with the rolling pin. Roll into a ball and keep small portions.
- The largest you knead well and paint with a green food coloring, so that it resembles grass.
- With the cake ready, you take it out of the mold and cover with the green fondant. Press to seal the cake inside and cut out what is left.
