Do you have deer meat at home and you don’t know how to prepare it? Well, one of the options you can opt for is a delicious venison steak tartare.
Ingredients
- 300 gr. deer loin
- 2 anchovies
- 1 tablespoon Worcerstershire sauce
- 2 tablespoons ketchup
- 1 shot of whiskey
- 2 tablespoons mustard
- 2 tablespoons of salt
- 2 tablespoons of black pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 pickles
- 20 gr. from onion red
- 12 capers
- 1 yolk egg quail
Preparation of venison steak tartare
- The night before you have to let the venison loin marinate with a little thyme, rosemary and juniper berries, a little black pepper and a good splash of whiskey.
- The next day, after having cleaned the loin well, cut it into cubes, if you wish, or in another way that you like, such as strips.
- All the ingredients on the list are going to be mixed in a good one and beat well with the help of electric stirrers.
- Put the venison over the mixture and leave it in the fridge, covered with plastic wrap for a quarter of an hour.
- Place molds on the plates and remove the meat to distribute it. On top of each plate you are going to put the yolk of a quail egg.
