  • 1 kg. from spinach
  • 6 strips of bacon
  • 200 ml. cream for cooking
  • 1 tablespoon of flour
  • 1 splash of milk
  • 1 onion
  • 1 tooth of Garlic
  • Grated cheese
  • Olive oil
  • Salt

Preparation of creamy spinach with bacon

  1. First, wash the spinach and put it in a colander until all the water has been released. As soon as they are, put them in a pan over the fire with a little oil for about four minutes. You will see how little by little they decrease in volume. When it’s dark, put them aside.
  2. Cut the six bacon strips into cubes and put them in the same pan. This time, you don’t need to add oil, the bacon already has its own. Leave it on the fire for a few minutes until you see that it is toasting and then put it in a bowl. We will use it later.
  3. Next, wash, peel and cut the onion and garlic as small as you can and put it all in the pan with a little oil.
  4. As soon as you see that the onion is poached, take the spinach that you have set aside before, put them in the pan together with the flour and stir so that the flavors are well integrated. Add some salt.
  5. Add the cream with the splash of milk and cook until the cream reduces. Stir from time to time, so that the cream does not settle to the bottom and everything is integrated. Cooking should be around 10 minutes.
