For those who like the taste of seafood, this recipe from pumpkin and prawn cream It is a good way to add vegetables to our diet with all the flavor of a good seafood cream.
Ingredients
- 1 kg. from pumpkin.
- two onions.
- 1 liter of vegetable broth.
- 250 gr. from prawns peeled.
- Salt.
- Pepper.
- Olive oil.
Pumpkin and prawn cream recipe:
- In a pot we will put a little oil to heat. While we will peel the onions and we will cut into small pieces or we will crush. We toss it with the hot oil and sauté it well, turning it several times.
- In what is browned we take the opportunity to take care of the pumpkin. We cut it in half and remove the skin from both parts. After having washed it well, we will cut it into small pieces in the shape of a square and put it into the pot. We stir everything well again and after a few minutes we will add the liter of vegetable broth and a little salt.
- Cover the saucepan and let it cook for about 10 minutes or so. We check that the vegetables have remained tender, otherwise, we let them cook for longer.
- Once everything is ready, we put it in the blender glass and beat everything well until we get a fine and smooth mixture.
- Now we will deal with the prawns. Having them already fought, we will fry them in a pan, adding a little salt to give them a little more flavor. We will fry them until they are golden brown or at the point that we like the most.
- Once they are ready, we chop the prawns and add them to the cream that we have prepared. In the pot that we used before we add all the cream and cook it a little so that in this way the pieces of the prawns take on the flavor. Then it only remains to serve and start eating.
