It is customary for the pumpkin cream to be accompanied by some type of extra vegetables, to make it more consistent and nutritious. Carrot is one of those vegetables and its preparation is quite simple. We show you how to prepare the Pumpkin And Carrot Cream.
Ingredients
- 550 gr. from pumpkin.
- 220 gr. carrot.
- 110 gr. from potato.
- 110 gr. from leek.
- 110 gr. from onion.
- ½ liter of water.
- Olive oil.
- Salt.
- White pepper.
Pumpkin and carrot cream recipe.
- In a saucepan we are going to heat a little olive oil. Meanwhile, we will peel, wash and cut the leek into small pieces. We will also do the same with the onion.
- With the oil already hot, pour it all into the saucepan and stir it well to mix it with the oil. You have to leave it there until it gets well poached. So that you do not get over it, put it on a low heat.
- While they are poached, we are going to cut the pumpkin in half, remove the skin and wash it well. Finally we will cut it into small squares. We do the same with the carrot, but we cut it into slices. We also peel and wash the potatoes and then cut them into small pieces to cook them.
- In another saucepan we are going to heat ½ liter of water and cook everything that we have cut for about 30 minutes, until everything is very soft.
- After that time, we pour the contents of both pans into the blender glass and beat everything until we get a fine cream.
