- After washing the zucchini well, cut them in half and empty them using a tablespoon, being very careful not to break the skin. The zucchini meat is not going to be thrown away, as it will be part of the filling. So try to cut it into squares or pass it through the mincer for a couple of seconds to chop it up.
- Take advantage now and turn the oven to 190º C so that it starts to heat up for a few minutes.
- Put a frying pan on the fire with oil and let it heat up. Peel and cut both the onion and garlic cloves into small pieces.
- If you have the ham sliced, make strips with it. If what you have is diced ham, then add it to the fire along with the onion, the garlic cloves and the zucchini meat.
- When the onion starts to turn golden brown, add salt and pepper to your personal taste. Stir and let it cook for another five minutes to get the flavor of the seasonings.
- Fill the zucchini, cover the sauce with grated cheese, put them on the baking sheet and inside. It will take about 25 – 30 minutes to be ready.
