Steamed romanescu recipe

Ingredients for 4 people
- 1 romanescu
- ½ cup olive oil
- 6 cloves of garlic
- 500 ml. of water
- Salt to taste

- Preparing this steamed vegetable is extremely easy. The first thing you have to do is separate the bouquets and then wash them well in a colander
- Pour the water into a large pot and set the basket to steam. Place the florets on top, cover and cook for 10 minutes.
- Then take out and reserve in a source. If you don’t like them “al dente”, you can leave them longer.
- Peel the garlic cloves, remove the root from the center to avoid repeating them after eating them and cut them very small. You can vary the amount of garlic if you wish.
- Add the olive oil to a frying pan and when it is hot, cook the garlic.
- Once it starts to brown, take them out and pour over the florets.
- Sprinkle a little salt to taste and they are ready to eat.
