- 1 kg of tomatoes
- 2 teeth of Garlic
- 1 Italian green pepper
- one onion
- 1/2 cucumber
- 150 gr of white bread from the day before
- 3 tablespoons white wine vinegar
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 8 ice cubes
- 1 teaspoon salt
Preparation of gazpacho thermomix
- Let’s prepare the thermomix gazpacho ingredients: as you are going to use a food processor, cut the tomatoes, onion, ginned pepper, bread and cucumber into medium-sized pieces, you don’t have to work hard as the robot will grind for you.
- Ready? Now add the onion, tomatoes, pepper, cucumber, bread, olive oil and the peeled garlic cloves to the thermomix glass. Program the robot to grind for 30 seconds at speed 5.
- After grinding, add the salt, ice and vinegar and program the thermomix to beat for 3 minutes at speed 10.
- Use the thermomix basket to strain your gazpacho in case the tomato skin is very thick or dry. You can also strain the preparation with a traditional strainer, as you prefer.
- Once strained, your thermomix gazpacho will be ready, did you see how easy it is? Serve the gazpacho and add squares of toasted bread on top, enjoy!
- If you prefer the gazpacho very red, without emulsifying, add the olive oil to the preparation after straining the gazpacho and program the thermomix to mix for 2 seconds at speed 7. Ready!
