For this occasion, we will make the salmorejo with sliced bread so that a much softer salmorejo than usual comes out, with a little garnish so that it is very tasty.
- 400 gr. sliced bread
- 6 tomatoes
- 4 teeth of Garlic
- 250 ml. Of olive oil
- 60 ml. wine vinegar
- 4 eggs
- 200 gr. of ham cubes
Preparation of salmorejo with sliced bread
- Put the eggs to cook in water, for about 10 minutes, which is more or less how long it will take to have the salmorejo ready and that way they will be ready for when you need them.
- Soak the sliced bread, crumbled, in the olive oil or in the water, so that it is much softer.
- Chop the tomatoes and put them in the blender glass together with the sliced bread and the chopped garlic cloves.
- Beat everything together, with a little salt, for about three minutes.
- Now mix the olive oil together with the wine vinegar and pour the mixture while continuing to beat, until you get a slightly looser mixture.
- Lightly fry the ham cubes and those made with salmorejo, together with the eggs cut into wedges.
- If you want, you can also add some grated cheese.
- Put it in the fridge to rest and then enjoy it.
