Ingredients for four people:
Preparation of Italian panettone
- Start by preparing the chard. To do this, wash them with plenty of water and vinegar and then discard the stems and keep only the leaves.
- Add plenty of water to a small saucepan and when it is boiling add the chard, cook for 20 minutes or until tender. Then drain and reserve.
- Peel the onion and cut it into very small squares. Heat a little olive oil in a frying pan and sauté the onion over medium heat until transparent. Remove from heat and reserve.
- Add the eight eggs and salt to taste in a bowl and beat until the yolks and whites are properly integrated. Then add the chard and onion and stir to integrate the ingredients.
- Moisten a pan with olive oil and, when it is hot, lower the heat to medium heat, pour the mixture and cover the pan. Cook until the eggs set.
- When you notice that the eggs have set and there is no liquid on the surface, turn the omelette, cover the pan and let the preparation cook for five more minutes over low heat.
- Once your easy chard omelette is ready, place it on a plate, cut it into portions and enjoy. Enjoy your meal!
