  • 8 beef steaks
  • 40 gr. by moixernons
  • 300 gr. from onion
  • 300 gr. from tomato
  • 100 gr. from carrot
  • 100 ml. white wine
  • 10 gr. Of flour
  • 1 beef stock cube
  • Olive oil
  • Ground black pepper
  • Salt

To make the picada:

Preparation of fricandó with moixernons

  1. Half an hour before starting to prepare this delicious dish, put the moixernons to hydrate. To do this, you just have to put them in a bowl with cold water.
  2. Next you must remove the skin from the onions, and then go on to grate them. Wash the tomatoes and grate them. Reserve both vegetables.
  3. Remove the skin from the carrots, and cut them into thin slices. Now add salt and ground black pepper to the beef fillets, and pass them in flour.
  4. Pour a background of olive oil in a pan, and put it to heat. Once hot, fry the fillets on both sides, without overcooking.
  5. Remove the fillets, and in that same oil, sauté the onion until it begins to brown. Then add the carrot to the pan, and let all the vegetables cook over low heat until they are well poached.
  6. Now add the tomato to the pan, raise the heat a little, and let it fry with the other ingredients. Add a little salt and ground black pepper to your liking.
  7. After a couple of minutes, add a tablespoon of flour, and stir it to mix well with the other ingredients.
  8. Pour in the white wine, turn up the heat, and wait for the alcohol to evaporate. Add the stock cube well crumbled, with a quarter of a glass of water.
  9. When everything starts to boil, turn off the heat, remove the pan and blend all the ingredients with the help of the electric mixer.
  10. Put the sauce in the casserole again along with the meat, stir everything and let it simmer for 15 to 20 minutes.
  11. Meanwhile go preparing the bite. To do this, put the garlic, almonds and parsley washed and drained in a mortar, and mash everything very well until it is well crushed.
  12. Add the minced meat to the pan and add the washed and drained moixernons. Pour more water into the pan, and stir all the ingredients. Let it cook together for another 30 minutes.
  13. Clever! Now you can turn off the fire, set aside and serve your exquisite fricandó with moixernons. You just have to check how delicious you have left, don’t wait another minute! Very good profit!
