The Ferrero Rocher cake It is a delicious cake suitable for any party, be it a birthday or Christmas, because everyone likes it! The Ferrero Rocher bonbon perfectly combines the flavors of chocolate and nuts and the mouthfeel is fabulous.

Ingredients

For the base:

  • 250 gr. Maria type cookies
  • 120 gr. unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
  • 1 tablespoon of brown sugar

For the mousse:

  • 12 Ferrero Rocher chocolates
  • 400 ml of liquid cream to whip
  • 250 ml. milk
  • 300 gr. nutella or cocoa cream
  • 15 gr. powdered gelatin
  • 80 ml. cold water

Ferrero Rocher cake recipe

  1. Crush the cookies by placing them in a bag and crushing them with a rolling pin or using a chopper. Once they are well crushed, add them to a bowl along with the brown sugar and cocoa powder. Stir well.
  2. Melt the butter in the microwave until it is liquid and add it to the bowl with the cookies. Stir well until you get a wet sand texture.
  3. Pour the mixture into the mold that you are going to use to make the cake and press well to make it compact. Put in the fridge while you prepare the rest of the cake (30 minutes minimum).
  4. Remove the wrapper from the Ferrero Rocher chocolates and cut them with a knife into small pieces. Add them to a container and reserve.
  5. Dissolve the gelatin powder in the cold water to hydrate it. Let it rest for about 10 minutes.
  6. Whip the cream with the mixer or the electric rods at high speed until it is stiff. For it to mount well it is better that it is very cold.
  7. Heat the nutella for 10 seconds to soften a little and pour it into a large bowl to work on. Add the milk and mix until integrated.
  8. Heat the gelatin that you had reserved for a few seconds in the microwave so that it becomes liquid again and add it to the Nutella. Stir well.
  9. It is time to add the cream. Do it little by little and stirring with some manual rods and with enveloping movements.
  10. Add the chocolates and stir again. Pour this mixture over the base that we had reserved in the fridge.
  11. Put it back in the fridge for at least 6 hours so that the cake does not come apart.
  12. Once the 6 hours have elapsed you can decorate it with chocolates or Nutella chocolate to your liking, you’ll see how delicious!
