  • 500 gr. from broccoli
  • 300 ml. from cream liquid for cooking
  • 100 gr. from cooked ham
  • 1 onion
  • 200 gr. cheese for gratin
  • Ground black pepper
  • Olive oil
  • Salt

Preparation of broccoli with cream

  1. Start by washing the broccoli well and separating the florets. Cut the stem a little.
  2. Put a pot with 2 fingers of water to heat. When it is boiling, add the broccoli, cover the pot, and cook for 5 minutes over maximum heat.
  3. Then drain the broccoli and reserve.
  4. Now start preparing the cream sauce: Peel, wash and cut the onion into julienne strips. Cut the cooked ham into small pieces. Reservation.
  5. Put a frying pan on the fire with 2 tablespoons of olive oil and when it is hot add the onion with a pinch of salt. Cook over medium heat until transparent.
  6. Add the cooked ham cut into small pieces, turn up the heat a little and sauté for a couple of minutes until lightly browned.
  7. Add liquid cream to the pan, add salt and black pepper to taste and cook over high heat until it boils. Stir constantly so it doesn’t stick.
  8. When it has boiled for the first time, lower the heat and cook for another 5 minutes.
  9. Now that you have the sauce prepared, preheat the oven to 200ºC and choose a baking dish.
  10. Add the broccoli to the source, bathe it well with the cream sauce, sprinkle the grated cheese and bake for 5 minutes at 200ºC. You’ll see how delicious!
