Ingredients

  • 1 chicken medium chopped
  • 30 ml of sauce soy
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 3 tablespoons of cold water
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon seasoning
  • two eggs
  • Ground black pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Bolivian chicken pork rind preparation

  1. Before you start seasoning your chicken, you should cut it into medium pieces. Cut the larger parts in two. Remember that you can ask the butcher to cut it for you. Do not leave large pieces because they will take longer to fry and may be raw inside.
  2. Add the eggs in a bowl and beat them with the help of a fork, add the seasoning, pepper, mustard, yellow pepper powder and soy. If you are going to add little salt, remember that soy sauce is salty.
  3. In a separate bowl mix the cold water and the cornstarch, dissolve well and add to the mixture. Place the chicken in a large bowl and bathe it with this preparation, ensuring that it is well covered. Cover with a film and place in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
  4. After the time has elapsed, heat plenty of oil in the pan over low heat and fry the chicken pieces for 15 minutes.
  5. Remove, let it rest for 15 more minutes and fry again until golden brown. Drain excess fat on absorbent kitchen paper.
  6. Serve your Bolivian chicken chicharrón with potatoes, rice or some fresh salad. Very good profit!
