- 350 gr. from rice
- 400 gr. from squid
- 1 liter of fish broth
- two onions
- 1 tablespoon of paprika
- 150 gr. sauce tomato natural
- Olive oil
Valencian black rice recipe
- You will need the cleaned squid and the ink bags it contains. So when you buy it at the fishmonger, ask that it be cleaned well and given into small pieces in the form of rings. And that the ink bags also give them to you.
- Peel and chop the onion as well as garlic cloves. Put a frying pan on the fire and start to fry the vegetables, until they are golden brown. Once golden brown, add the tomato sauce and stir well so that it is done.
- Dilute the squid ink in the fish broth, mixing it in the blender, so that it is well integrated.
- With the sauce a little more consumed, add the squid and rice. Stir, sprinkle with salt to your liking and a tablespoon of paprika and stir again.
- Pour in the broth and let it cook for about 15-20 minutes, until it is consumed.
