Taking advantage of the different functions that the thermomix offers you, you can prepare a very rich beef stew in a very short time.
Ingredients
- 1 onion
- 3 teeth of Garlic
- 1 tomato
- 50 ml. from Red wine
- 3 potatoes
- 4 carrot
- 1/2 liter of water
- 2 bay leaves
- 70 ml. Of olive oil
- 1/2 kg. beef
- Salt
- Pepper
Preparation of thermomix beef stew
- While the oil is heated in the thermomix glass for 4 minutes at varoma temperature with spoon speed, the meat is cleaned, chopped and seasoned to your liking.
- With the oil already hot, you add the meat and programs again at varoma temperature with spoon speed with a left turn, but this time for six minutes and leaving the glass uncovered.
- Once the program is finished, remove the meat with the help of the basket and take out the oil to use it for the sauce.
- Peel the onion and cut it into quarters, as well as the tomato and garlic cloves. Put everything in the thermomix glass and chop at speed 5 for 10 seconds.
- Lower the pieces that have stuck to you, program for 7 minutes with varoma temperature, at speed 1 with the oil back in the glass.
- Finished, program to crush at progressive speed from 5 to 10 for 10 seconds.
- Add the meat and for two minutes, with varoma temperature at tablespoon speed with a counterclockwise turn, fry it all together.
- Pour in the red wine and start the same program.
- Put the basket, add the bay leaf and pour the water. Then program for 25 minutes at 100º C, at spoon speed with turn to the left.
- Before removing the meat, check that the meat is very tender, otherwise you will have to leave it for a couple of more minutes.
