  • 80 gr. from Butter
  • 80 gr. from flour
  • 300 ml. from cream
  • 400 ml. from milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • Salt to taste

Preparation of bechamel with cream

  1. You are going to start by mixing the milk and cream in a bowl with some manual rods. Booking.
  2. Add the butter in a pan and when it melts, add the flour and stir it without stopping to cook it for approximately three minutes, thus avoiding the flour from being raw.
  3. Pour a part of the cream mixture with the milk slowly while stirring and remove the pan from the heat while all the ingredients are integrated.
  4. Once everything is mixed, return the pan to the heat, add the rest of the mixture, and continue stirring. It is important that the heat is low, this way you will prevent it from sticking and also lumps from the sauce.
  5. Next, add the nutmeg, salt and pepper to your liking and, when it comes to a boil, after a few minutes it will begin to thicken.
  6. Take your sauce off the heat when it has achieved the consistency you want. Be careful not to overcook, remember that when the sauce loses temperature it thickens even more and should be a little liquid.
