  • 500 gr. from broccoli
  • 200 gr. cheese for gratin
  • 50 gr. Of flour
  • 50 gr. of butter
  • ½ liter of milk
  • 100 gr. fried tomato
  • 1 tablespoon of nutmeg
  • Ground black pepper
  • Salt

Preparation of broccoli with bechamel

  1. We first turn on the oven to 180º C because we will need to use it shortly and we clean the broccoli well. We separate the bouquets.
  2. We put a pot with 2 fingers of water, and when it starts to boil, we add the bouquets, cover and leave for 5 minutes over high heat to bring the broccoli to a boil. We drain and reserve.
  3. Now we will prepare the bechamel sauce: We put a saucepan on the fire and first add the butter so that it melts little by little while we stir with the kitchen rods.
  4. When the butter is already melted, add the 50 grams of flour and fry until it turns golden.
  5. Next we pour the half liter of milk little by little while stirring constantly. This step is important so that there are no lumps. We add black pepper to taste, salt and nutmeg. We booked.
  6. Now we cover the base of the baking dish that we are going to use with the fried tomato. Then we distribute the broccoli bouquets and add a pinch of salt and a little grated cheese.
  7. We cover the broccoli with the béchamel sauce that we have prepared and sprinkle a good grated cheese on top again.
  8. We put the tray in the oven at 180ºC for 20 minutes with heat up and down. When the cheese surface is gratinated, the broccoli with béchamel is ready to be served.
