- 500 ml. vegetable broth
- 200 gr. black beans
- 150 gr. of rice
- 2 teeth of Garlic
- 1 Red pepper medium
- 100 gr. diced bacon
- 60 ml. Of olive oil
Preparation of beans with rice thermomix
- To guarantee tender and rich beans, you should soak them the night before using a container with plenty of water, this will soften and hydrate them, making them easier to cook. They must be soaked for at least 8 hours, the next day strain them and reserve.
- It’s time to start cooking, so peel the garlic cloves and add them to the thermomix glass along with the pepper. Program for 4 seconds with a speed four so that everything is well crushed. Use a spatula to lower the remains that have stuck to the walls.
- Pour the olive oil along with the bacon and this time program for 9 minutes, with 100 degrees of temperature and at speed 1. As these ingredients are sautéing, you can drain the beans if they are not yet ready. Once dry, you leave them inside the varoma container.
- After the program, wash the rice well to release the starch, and dry it a little. Add to the thermomix glass and program again at 100 degrees, but this time for 1 minute with turn to the left and speed 1.
- Then pour all the vegetable broth together with a pinch of salt, also placing the varoma container in its respective place. Program with varoma temperature, turn to the left and speed 1 for 18 minutes.
- Once ready, place the rice and beans on a serving tray and mix with a fork or wooden spoon. Serve in the same tray as a centerpiece for your guests to take the portion that they most want of these rich beans with thermomix rice.
