  • ½ kg. of tofu
  • Olive oil

To make the marinade:

  • 1 egg
  • Wheat flour
  • 1 pinch of baking powder
  • Soda water
  • Salt

Preparation of the battered tofu

  1. When preparing the battered tofu, you must first prepare the marinade. To do this, you just have to put the mustard, the soy sauce to your liking and some ground black pepper and salt in a bowl.
  2. Then grate the lemon peel, and add it as well. Stir all the ingredients, so that they mix well.
  3. Then add the diced tofu, or sticks, or in any other way you prefer, into the bowl. Make sure that the tofu is well soaked in this mixture, to take its flavor well. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap, and let the tofu marinate.
