- 3 eggs
- 160 gr. of sugar
- 240 gr. Of flour
- 1 yogurt
- ½ cup sunflower oil
- 1 sachet of yeast
- two apples
- 2 tablespoons of brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons cinnamon
- 4 tablespoons of ground almonds
Apple and almond cake recipe
- Put the oven on at about 190º C more or less, so that it will already take up temperature when you are going to need it in a few minutes.
- Beat the eggs together with the sugar to form a homogeneous cream-like mixture. Then add the yogurt and sunflower oil to mix everything again.
- In a separate bowl, mix the flour together with the spoonful of yeast and slowly pour it into the mixture with the egg little by little without stopping beating at any time to make a dough.
- Cut the apples into cubes and mash the almonds. Put everything in a bowl along with the cinnamon and brown sugar. Stir a little and pour half the bowl into the mixture.
- Pour the contents into an oven-safe mold and line the top with the leftover mixture.
- Put it in the oven for about half an hour. Check, by clicking it from time to time, that it is doing well inside.
- When you take it out it is good to let it rest a little at room temperature before putting it in the fridge.
- If you want, you can cover the top with a little jam or a little icing sugar, everything will depend on your taste.
