Are you ready to prepare this dish of Andalusian alfajores? Well, let’s not waste time anymore!


  • 220 gr. from honey
  • 60 gr. hazelnut
  • 85 gr. from almonds
  • 100 gr. breadcrumbs
  • 1 tablespoon of flour
  • 1 tablespoon of cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon ground cloves
  • 10 gr. sesame seeds
  • 50 gr. icing sugar
  • 60 gr. of sugar
  • 60 ml. of water

Andalusian alfajores preparation

  1. The first thing you have to do is put the water in a pot and, as soon as it starts to boil, add the sugar. You have to make a syrup, so the mixture has to be on the fire for about ten minutes. Then remove from heat, let cool and reserve.
  2. Add the almonds and hazelnuts to the blender glass and pulverize until you get a fine flour. Reservation.
  3. In another pot, heat the honey until it boils and add the flour, the powdered almonds and hazelnuts, the breadcrumbs, the sesame seeds, the cinnamon, the ground cloves and half of the reserved syrup. Mix until you get a paste.
  4. Remove the pasta from the heat and let it rest for ten minutes. Then, place the pasta on the table or on a baking paper and build the Andalusian alfajores by taking a small portion of pasta and forming a cylinder.
  5. When you have formed all the alfajores, roll them with the icing sugar and the remaining portion of syrup. Your Andalusian alfajores are ready to taste!
